Bile Thrall Conversion Part 2!

Alright, a little more work and a few more pics!  I got the River Troll vomit bits in the mail, so finally started getting to work on the explosion part.

As you can see, I put the River Troll bits on the sides.  I've started adding GS to the bottom for a third bit of explosion as well.  I filed down the vomit pieces a bit to both remove most of the fish bones (I left a couple just to have bones in the explosion, but no fish heads), as well as to make it a little less crowded.  Next step is to finish the GS for the bottom of the explosion, then add a couple of organ bits into the explosion bits.

Going with Tim's suggestion, I went and picked up a clear Epoxy resin.  This was my test bit to see how much color I wanted to add.  I also threw in a piece of plastic so I could see just how deep I can place it before losing visibility.  Because I still want to see the spine and rib bits, I think I'm going to go a little bit lighter on the clear paint (maybe one drop less of red and green).  You can't tell in this pic very well because it's on a black base, but it actually is a dark red with a little green in there.  After it hardens, I'm going to then use the clear green paint to do another light glaze on top to give it more of an acid look and less like blood.  More of an acid with blood mixed in instead of blood with acid mixed in.

I'm going to do all of this after I've painted the rest of the model and sealed it, otherwise the resin will get cloudy from the sealant.  More pics to come!  Thoughts so far?
